As with the 2006 which is already past its peak, the 2008 is trailing not far behind. Deep garnet in the glass. Soft nose & palate where the Merlot and Sangiovese really play a major part. The Cab's grip seems to be getting lost here. Light tannins, moderate acidity and alcohol. The wine is loosing depth that's for sure, so if you have this stashed somewhere in your cellar, drink up because it ain't gonna last much longer.
