A clear, pale lemon color presents a nose of medium intensity. One can smell the ocean in this wine! Crushed oyster shells and a slight brine note accompany a lovely floral aroma. The nose carries through to the palate with a healthy dose of a racy medium-plus acidity. The body is medium-minusand the finish is medium. The wine paired perfectly with Maryland crab cakes. Overall, this is a very good to outstanding wine. Off to purchase more! Cheers!

Agree with the previous tasters. All about acid, mineral and anger. Not a fruit wine in the least, but killer palate rapier. Great Muscadet if that's what you're looking for--tons of tension and not watery in the least. Rocks and acid for days.

Lovely Muscadet. Golden in color with sea breeze, citrus and mineral on the nose. The palate was all mineral, mulch, lemon zest and sea shell. Perfect salt water weight in your mouth. Huge QPR here!

Weygandt Selections - Annual Portfolio Tasting (Astor Place - New York, NY): Compared to the Les Gautronnieres this was far more floral in nature, but still had a chalky undercurrent. Another nice one.
