  De couleur bourgogne, avec un nez très présent sur le fumé, fruit mûr, framboise, sang, terre. Bonne acidité, long en bouche et un peu corsé. En bouche on retrouve les mêmes aromes perçus au nez. Très représentant des pinots californiens.

  1 - Doesn't leave me wanting more (base score: D)
  2 - Decent (base score: C)
  3 - Why is the bottle empty already (base score: B+)
  
  Refinements
  These are sub-factors which skew the score one way or another. Each factor is again a 3 point scale:

  Just over four years old, this mature pinot displays a deep ruby color, and looks almost like a merlot in the glass, but the clarity gives it away. Packed with blueberry aromas, the nose also shows nice, creamy vanilla notes. Luscious blueberry fills the mouth, with other ripe fruit, vanilla and bit of spice, and some earthy notes as well. Now is a good time to drink this one; don't wait too long.

  Agree with comment that this wine is far too dense. Very fruit forward and lacking acidity. Typical sonoma coast pinot. Not my things.
