Glass: Zalto Bordeaux Popped and poured, drunk over three days. Clear, medium-deep golden color. I am not 100% sure, if the bottle was perfectly stored or if this is due to the challenging vintage. This bottle was quite advanced, but not flawed. You can feel the Forster terroir, the mineral core and the complexity, but it was also a bit unbalanced, sweet/sour and lacks precision and tension. Good length. Certainly a very good wine, but I expected a bit more. This bottle could be kept for a few more years, but would certainly not improve. 90-91

Happy Riesling Weekend (Dado Restaurant Düsseldorf): Yellow ripe stone fruit, creamy, a little bit broad in the finish, blind tasted, for 2010 too few acidity, most in the group were "lucky" with the acidity, for me more Chardonnay than Riesling, 90-91

Focused with peach, pear and smokiness. Little buttery in palate with full, round body and long finish. Very concentrated.
