  Decant 2 hours, medium bodied, well balanced cab, not a fruit bomb, nice tannins drinking well now

  Wonderful Diamond Mt. cab aging well with great balance between tannins and fruit. Cedar and tobacco on the nose. Ripe dark fruit of blackberries, figs, on the palette with a hint of oak and medium tannins. Awesome finish with some vanilla and floral hints that lasts forever.

  Good wine that needs time to open. Dark fruit on the palate but a bit closed even after 2 hours opened. Last one I have so not sure I will find another. Very good and shows it will age for longer.

  Although opened at the winery for some time, it still needs some age/air. The tannins are pretty firm but the wine is not rough. Black fruits dominate with some dried herbs and mountain sage.

  Napa Valley winery visits April 26: Notes of vanilla bean, dried floral, peppercorn and currant. Brambly forward dark fruit on the palate with layered earthy depth. Integrated flavors. Grainy tannins with nice polish. Pretty, elegant, nice finish. Very nice.
