  Very good.
  Clear, deep, garnet with a very narrow watery rim.
  Clean, medium, fully developed nose of blackberry, black olive, cigar box and vanilla.
  Dry, medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol (13%), though finished a little hot, medium bodied and medium flavour intensity of blackberry, olive, vanilla and well done pepper steak. Medium (-) finish.
  Good to very good. This has held up very well (a lot better than I had anticipated 3.5 years ago!) and whilst the primary fruit has well and truly faded the complex tertiary flavours are evident. Lacks a little concentration and finishes shorter than you might expect.
  Drink now, this will not improve and may already be somewhat past its best.
  Cork.

  Trois ans plus tard, ce vin a une autre dimention: Il a développé des arômes tertiaries intéressants mais je le préférais dans sa jeunesse. Tout de même très bon.

  Good. Quite a deep ruby. Nose of medium intensity, with dark fruits, plums, blackberries, blackcurrants combined with some leathery, meaty savoury aromas. Developing to fully developed. On the palate, Medium acid, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium bodied, medium flavour intensity, again black fruits, plums, dates, along with a leathery, meaty savouriness. Medium length. Drink now, but will hold. In balance, but lacking the complexity to be any more than good. Cork.
