Hot nose. Scents of black pepper and blackberry. Very jammy on the palate, but with decent tannin structure. Plum, berries, leather. Needs food- acid is very kind to this wine. Sweet finish.

Tart red fruit with lively acidity, more complexity and a bit higher tannins than the Paso Robles bottling.
