Drank this wine today with a wine mate at Peach Garden Restaurant, Thomson Plaza.
Purple-red in colour. The wine took an hour in the decanter to open up. Primary notes of red fruits (cherries, berries and plums) were evident on the nose and palate with a distinct higher level of acidity in the finish. Notes of oak, aged leather and milk chocolates were also present.
As the wine evolved, the integration became better and it went well with the roasted pork cubes, Pan-fried Kurobuta Pork with Asparagus, Stewed “Charcoal” Noodle and salted egg spinach which we had.
Overall, this wine has aged well over the last 20 years and has grown from a pretty young girl to a beautiful lady. Wondering how gracefully she will continue to blossom and impress over the next 20 years.

Opened this tonight at Dragon Phoenix Restaurant for Mother's Day Dinner.
Second wine of Chateau Gloria. Brick red in colour with toasted oaks and almond on the nose.
On the palate the wine is smooth and chocolatey with undissolved tannins.
