Dominated by sour cherries - simply not balanced; should never have been sold as a Brunello. Just another example of one of the golden rules: NEVER by a cheap Brunello and expect to get a decent wine...

Dark brown red in color. Flat nose. Black cherry and cassis with some gravel on the opening, followed by lots of acidity and some eucalyptus on the finnish. A nice wine to pair with food, but if tasted blind, I would have mistaken it for an every day Chianti rather than a Brunello. The storage conditions in the shop in north Iceland might not have contributed to the quality of the wine.

App: Purple red
Aroma: Sweet cherries, blackcurrant, plums and loads of oak
Full bodied and rather smooth tannins.
Medium length
Good Brunello for the price
