good fill and the cork came out intact. The bottle was a little weathered with some corrosion under the capsule, but overall good shape considering the age. This wine is well-built, very much alive and vibrant. Some geriatric, musty smells blew off after about 20 minutes in the decanter, but it needed a full hour to come around. Marked by sous-bois and tertiary scents, this wine shows some of the austerity of the vintage, but develops a sweetness and softens with time. Not the most complex (it is a village wine), but nice now and absolutely needs food.
