This was the best Bedrock red I've ever had, and the oldest. A fantastic zin blend that is full-bodied and retains lift with acid and earth. This wine is full-bodied and dense with structure.

I am not sure of the grapes used here, but it sure tastes like Petite Sirah. Dark and youthful, with black fruits, tar, smoke and grilled pepper steak. Still holding on to its tannic structure. It seems like this could easily age for decades more.
Pours black as midnight. Floral, peppery, smokey nose of dark black fruits. Full throttle palate exploding with brambly blackberry/blueberry fruit, tar, ripe plum, bay leaf and very perfumed aromas/flavors of violets. Thick chewy tannins a testament to the fact that this is going nowhere fast. Probably an immortal wine, though I will never find out since this was my second and last bottle. Go big or go home.

I had sat on my last bottle of this for 7 years since last drinking it. I have no more but wish that I did. Still in a good place.
