Dark garnet color saturated to the rim. Aromas of dark fruit, plum, carmel and hints of vanilla and spice. Tart red fruit flavors with undertones of leather. Acids and tannins balanced and aging well. Long finish on this one. Would open bottle and let it sit 30-60 minutes just to let it catch it's breath.

Dark garnet red with a tinge of purple, clear rim. Aromas of plum, dark cherry, carmel, vanilla and light oak. Moderate viscosity, balanced, yet still distinct acids and tannins. Full mouth feel, moderate finish. Wine did not require much open time to enjoy. No observable sediment. Good cab, great QPR.

Better than the previous bottle I had a year ago. Feels like it needs another couple of years to come around fully though. Still slightly firm and somewhat one-dimensional, but pretty rich and engaging too.

This bottle may have been a bit off - felt more like a zin than a cab, as if it were mis-labled. That said, it was much better on the 2nd day.

Light spice, light sweet prune and fig notes. Light to medium-bodied. Simple and pleasant but nothing striking.
