Opened about 1 hour prior to tasting, then revisited several times through the night. A stellar cabernet, full of beautiful black currant, plum, and black cherry. A spicy, almost savory component came out with air, adding yet another fascinating dimension to the wine. It was so smooth on the palate, yet had great acidity and delightful balance. One of the best WA cabernets I've tasted in a long time.

Opened about 30 minutes before serving. Showing prominent nose of nailpolish remover and some black fruit - cassis and black cherry. Oak comes in but is nicely balanced. The ethyl acetate ruined this wine for me though, as it dominates the nose and palate. Other tasters had similar comments. A disappointment.

This started off with mostly plum on the palate but with time in the air red cherry became the dominant flavor -- almost like a cherry sucking candy. Some red currant, and a little bit of spice on the midpalate. There's plenty of fruit and it's enjoyable, but it is clearly intended for early drinking and I don't think that it will evolve much.

(Gramercy Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Lower East Side Columbia Valley) This wine is immediately recognizable as Cabernet Sauvignon with abundant cherry fruit and herbal notes accented by graphite. The palate is incredibly appealing with silky, rich cherry flavors all the while retaining an understated elegance. An impressive wine, especially at this price point. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot. Flying B, Estate, and Pepper Bridge vineyards. Aged in French oak (20% new).

This seemed muted. An off-bottle or has this faded rapidly in the past two years?
