  Well put-together Alto Adige sauvignon blanc. This has softened considerably, and has lost some of the crispness and acidity that was present when it was 2/3 years old. Still holds together, with minerality and finesse. Visually, this is brilliantly clear with a faint greenish tinge, and barely a touch of yellow going into its ninth year. Flavor was undiminished even on the second day. Probably at its best several years back.

  Sein unverkennbares dichtes Sortenaroma erinnert an Holunder, frische Brennesel, Holunderblueten und reife, schwarze Johannisbeeren. Geruch und Geschmack sind einheitlich. Sein eleganter, geschmeidiger Koerper ueberzeugt mit einer feinen, harmonischen Saeure und eleganter Fuelle. In Summe schoener klassischer Sauvignon Blanc, schon was Besonderes gerade die Vielschichtigkeit im Geruch.

  I have always liked this wine regardless of vintage. 2010 is a good year.
  This wine has a lot of fruit but for me its predominately about mouth feel. Intense nettles with a long long finish.
  Maybe not everyones cup of tea but more interesting than a generic NZ SB and reasonably priced compared to top sancerre

  Für einen Sauvignon Blanc eher wenig fruchtig und etwas breit, mit deutlichen Bitternoten und hoher Konzenztration. Nicht ganz mein Geschmack was diese Rebsorte angeht.
