Hot damn!! Eric Anderson in the house. The shopkeeper flipped this over, so it all worked out a little cloudy. Wild strawberry on the palate. Luxardo Maraschino cherry. Smokingly good after the Egly-Ouriet. Darker red and a touch waxy. Even smoother feel than the E-O. Must be the 10yrs on the lees.

Uncorking this wine is both fun and a pain in the neck....mostly because a good portion of the wine gets wasted. But the wine iteself is so interesting! Super bone dry with yeasty notes and subtle red fruit. Very clean.

Like every Ales bottle these days, I feel like this is more challenging than great. Heavy wine and herbal nose. Not very biscuity even though it's been on lees 6 plus years. Red fruits and savory. Not quite the screwing of your mind as his Pinot Nero or Lunar but challenging. Effusive bubbles (elegant perlage is not a term I'd use). Palate is long and crunchy. I agree that this may last forever (like he says), but I don't know that I'd want to drink it's

(Movia Puro Rose) Cloudy, light peach pink color with few medium-sized bubbles; intriguing, salty strawberry, tart orange nose; tart orange, cream, tart peach, strawberry, mineral palate; medium-plus finish 90+ points

So little fruit expression. All acid and bubbles and brightness. A fine holiday sparkler, but not as interesting as id hoped.
