(Seufert Winery Pinot Noir Horse Leap Vineyard Willamette Valley) Comes off as reduced initially before opening to reveal a lightly aromatic profile of moss and strawberry notes. The palate is soft with tart cranberry flavors. 100% Pinot Noir. Pommard and 777 clones. Sample provided by winery.

Prior tasting note on point. Lighter Burgundian-style wine (but certainly not like a premier cru). Herbal notes dominate on entry followed by sour cherry.
