Big, big wine. Nose sour cherry, prune, a bit of alcohol burn. Taste evolved significantly over 2 hrs. Initial strong cherry, spice, and plum evolved to muted cherry, raisin, spice, cedar. Dry finish, pretty long. Still a bit big and extracted to me but a good wine.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking througout. Nose of currants, soapstone, a hint of blueberry and a bit of spice. Flavors of currants, licorice, berries and plums. Medium acidity, medium to firm tannins, medium to full bodied. Drink or hold.
