I know this was a bigger wine when I bought it...it has softened almost to....well, not an Amador Zinfandel. Interestingly the cork was very soft...no off flavors, just a mild, dark red Zinfandel. Perhaps we waited too long on this one.

Purple with thin magenta edges. Rose, raspberry, spice and leather nose. Medium to full bodied, cranberries, blackberries, pepper, sharp cherries, sweet tannins, eucalyptus, cedar, and a long fruit-filled finish. Really delicious and a good value even at the list price.

Nicely done. Quite a contrast to prototypical Amador Co. Zinfandel it had a distinct earthen element that is very unique for the terrior.
