Full throttle cherry and raspberry pinot. Secondary notes of cola, spice, smoke. On the fruitier side for my palate. Much improved after a 2 hour decant.

The color is garnet, clear but dense, and nearly opaque and a bit watery to the edge. The smells are quite aromatic even before the swirl. The smells are crushed cherry and raspberry, sassafras, peppery and sweet spices, with floral notes. Very lovely on the nose. The tastes are cherry, earth, a hint of pepper, rose water, stone, dill, vanilla, and cola. The acidity is zingy and the finish is lengthy while the tannins are integrating well with a faint, dust-like texture. This wine is nice and elegant.
