  This is the follow up to the notable 99, one of western australia's most awarded shiraz. This does not have the same structure or complexity, coming from a lesser vintage. It is a well made wine but a touch simple. It has pure damson fruits which have gained a pepper and smoky overtone with age, but not the 'cigar box' complexity that marks a great aged wine. Drink up!
