The first thing you get is that lovely Bordeau stink. Then the ripe red ftuit and leather. On the palate good fruit with somewhat bitter tannins. Good acidity and long finish.

Medium bodied wine which reveals beautiful black cherry aromas with a hint of vanilla. Has well-balanced tannins and a long finish. Displays a mature character. Drink in the next year or two.

To me this is a fairly typical Bordeaux red. The extra couple years of bottle age has helped integrate and mature, while the fruit is still vibrant. Nice dark amber to red color. The nose has red fruit supported by same cedar, sandalwood, oak, and wet earth. The raspberry and cherry fruit has plenty of life left, while some of those secondary, earthy, herbal, and spicy flavors are doing a great job complimenting and balancing. Plenty of structure from acid, tannins, and oak. The finish is red fruit, like cranberry, with leather and herbs.
