Root Day - Decanted off of about of tablespoon of fine sediment. Garnet core to a crimson edge - still looking youthful. Nose is red flowers, plum, blueberry, spice, light leather and light tobacco. On the palate it’s very smooth with some oak showing along with the dark fruit (both black and blue), leather, light herbs, red flowers and light spice. The finish is long with the floral, spice and fruit continuing. Very, very good. It’s still very modern in style as in ripe and soft tannins and medium acidity but still very good.
2nd day - Fruit Day - nose is amazing. Smoke, earth, tar, leather, black licorice and dark fruit. On the palate the dark fruit comes through first followed by the leather, some tobacco, black licorice and spice. The finish is long with the fruit, leather, some red florals, spice and licorice all combined into a tremendous exhale. Day two suggests this beauty will continue to evolve for another 3-5 years. Tonight it’s unique with its blend of new and old world complexity. Wish I had more to see where it goes. 93 points tonight.

Delicious....frankly forgot it was stuck in the bottom rack and sort of hidden....this was great....deep rich nose and flavors of blackberry...touch of smoke....spices... really held up well....
