Rutherglen - Chambers & Campbells: {500ml, screwcap, 17.5%, A$35} Average age ten years. Rich honey and cold tea aromas. Resembles the ‘rutherglen’ level superficially, but this is richer, sweeter, deeper, longer in every respect. Great palate balance and intensity. Terrific. The value buy of the fortified line-up.

This bottle has been nibbled on for almost a year. The older it got the nuttier the flavor became. Really pairs up well with fruit and cream based desserts.

Amazing stuff. Like a cross between fresh maple syrup and wine. Sweet, but with everything in balance. Extracted to a level I wouldn't have believed possible. (SF Offline at Chapeau!)
