Lovely classic Saint-Julien. earthy and cedary with lovely fruit, hint of green tea, medium weight, attractive creaminess, relatively soft (no 2006-austerity) with gentle but firm tannins, good length. Great with steak bavette, sauce bordelaise, pommes coq d'or and water cress at St. Petroc's bistro in Padstow, Cornwall, UK.
