The 2010 Premium select blend (Malb/Syr/Bon/Cab) Liquorice, Black olives, Espresso, blackcurrant and other dark smoky black fruit flavors abound in this very elegant, smooth wine that announces itself gently to the nose, but comes on strongly over the palette with some very elegant medium weight power, then fills your senses like any good wine. Dusty dry and well balanced for such a young wine, on sale at $11.50 a bottle.. this is an easy half case treat for everyday with a great finish..

A bit light & a short finish, not what I'd expect from a Syrah or a Malbec. There was some blueberry, a little minerality and acidity, but pretty one dimensional. Wouldn't bother buying again, as there are definitely better everyday bottles out there even at that price point.

Plenty of dark berries, not much pepperiness from the addition of syrah, which I was hoping for. Much better on day two. Drink now.
