  Dark ruby color. Flavor profile and layers like that of a Port wine, but without the sweetness. Between medium and full body with firm, granular tannins. A bit hot on the nose at the start given the 15% alcohol, but this softened a little with time in the glass. Seems like this vintage is still developing into something better, so with 4-bottles remaining, will give the others more time in the cellar to see how they develop over time. (Currently 87-88).
