  • Another well priced, very competent Sauvignon Blanc from Chile. Nothing special, just real clean, crisp, and varietal correct. We like the way the grassy, herbaceous characteristics have been toned down. The mineral and earthy flavors and aromas enhance the stony, lemon, grapefruit, and melon. Well balanced, nice and crisp without being overbearing. A little spicy. Some flinty minerals on the finish. This wine only costs about 7 bucks, and tastes like a wine costing twice as much.
