  • Popped n' poured with dinner on our last nite in Anguilla. Nose has heavy notes of vanilla, oak and white flowers. Hints of lemon/lime on the nose. Medium bodied palate, with crisp acidity but still with good fruit, as well as oaky and vanilla notes. More minerality here than fat or lush fruit. Interesting wine as its aroma would lead one to believe it to be lush, fruity and viscous; whereas, the wine is much leaner than initially expected. Nice wine drinking wonderfully at present.

  • A Ledbury lunch: Pale to light mid straw. Very pure on the nose. A hint of minerality. Clean, mineral, focused attack. Quite a lean style. Some lime. So long. Goes on and on. Cut glass line and poise. So pure. Over and hour or two this opens up to show a touch of hazelnut roundness, but still very taut and precise. Elegance personified. Just lovely. *****
