  Bone dry, thin, clean, instantly forgettable, 11,5% alc. Most reminiscent (in texture, dilution and mega-shortness of finish) of an old-fashioned Vinho Verde in the days before we all discovered the wonders of properly vinified, nicely-concentrated Alvarinho... Tastewise, this feels pretty much like what jug wine in an Italian taverna should taste like on a hot summer's day (but alas too often doesn't). But €13,50 is way overpriced for a bottled wine offering so little in the way of character. Even by the low standards of Italian white wine readily available in the German market at retail €10-15 this is a poor buy. 84P
