Dark slightly sweet fruit aromatics with smooth and medium texture and very well balanced. This showed well right of the get go but decided to double decant for very fine sediment and allow the mineral component to emerge on the finish. Lots of flowery aromatics and a strong representation of field herbs a la Garigue. No rough tannins , no mean green, a real surprise showing considering many TN's here on previous bottles. Very unique and surprisingly soft at the beginning but gains complexity and structure. I'd say it has aged very well. Solid wine worth attention. That said, I have had big bottle to bottle variances from other vintages of this, as well as the other Mas Blanc wines, so it's always a wild roll of the dice....

While this is not my style, it is super interesting! A fascinating blend of black cherry, black currant, game, iron filings, iodine, and earth. Excellent balance between the fruits and savory elements. Lacks a bit of depth and concentration in its flavors, but it's complex and highly unique.

Incredibly bad on opening. Really did not become drinkable for about 2 hours. At best a very average wine. Think this is one of the reasons I stopped ordering from garagiste.

(Domaine du Mas Blanc (Docteur Parcé) Collioure Les Junquets) Figgy nose, with mulberry and cat pee; ok fig and clove palate; short finish (this is mainly Syrah with a dollop of Rousanne; with two "ugh" votes, it was our second worst wine of the night)

Very ripe black fruits that are fully mature while still firmly tannic. Good depth, but past its peak.
