Vinho excelente. Taninos bem definidos, aroma de frutas vermelhas pricipalmente amora, acidez na medida certa. Realmente um excepcional e muito elegante.

Holding up extremely well, still somewhat in its youth, although some of the big bold fruit from tasting a few years ago has mellowed. Still requires at least an hour or two decant time to smooth out some of the American oak nuances. Throwing a fair amount of sediment. The wine was a completely perfect pairing with medium rare standing rib roast for dinner.

It is a young dark purple. The nose is very attractive, deep and multi-layered with deep black fruits and mint, together with some hints of fresh sawn wood. Very ripe and rich on the palate. Velvety smooth and rich. Very impressive.
