Decanted 1.25 hours before drinking. A mild astringency on the end and finish, is present verses tannins. The fruit has gently faded a bit. Still solid but would consider drinking sooner than later.

Dark color, subtle nose. Still strong tannins after 2 hrs decant, not alot of fruit. Not sure where it goes from here. I was hoping for more from Beckstoffer GIII and oakville grapes.

At the 10 year mark this wine is still full throttle. Ripe fruit all over a palate that shows mostly integrated tannins on the finish. Nose is nondescript. Palate shows black cherry, blackberry. Hint of dark chocolate on the finish. Not sweet at all. Well balanced at this point. Finish is full of chocolate covered cherries. But again, not cloying. Still enough backbone that it's not flabby in any regard. Can certainly go longer but likely at its peak. Not sure how this can improve in 5 years unless some tertiary flavors develop. I wouldn't bother to wait. Drink & enjoy now.

Lots of mocha, earth, and dark stewed fruit. A hint of cassis and red fruits round it out. Good acidity which leads me to believe this can keep going for a few more years but in a good spot right now

PnP. Initially, good drink with dark berries dominant with some spice and acids lift the wine. Oak is there some vanilla but not over hte top. However, after about 2 hrs, acids still there but a bitter flavor comes creeping in and the fruit becomes even darker and sweeter. Oak becomes more prominent In the end, tasted closer to cough syrup.
