  • Light gold leaning slightly toward green. This is not very fruity nor terribly extroverted on the nose (pear, cold steel, bit of lavender as it warms) and bears an acid-mineral one-two punch which puts me in mind of 2010 village Chablis. To the extent that there's fruit, it's pear with maybe hints of lime zest and unripe nectarine. But it's more about sea spray and cut. Warmer, minerality fades while pear crescendos and an interesting bitter quinine-like bite creeps in. I quite like it, and it'd be very versatile with food. Superb with a simple fish-based meal.
