Lovely nose of cherry cardboard and Corton minerals. Quite ethereal and creamy in texture for a Corton with lovely and relatively delicate sour cherry fruit and excellent acidity. The finish is succulent and complex with notes of red spices, licorice and minerals. A superb match for beef bourguignon and certainly in it’s drinking window now.

Very Corton mineral-laden nose. Full and silky on the palate with delicious dark cherry fruit and good structure underneath. Lots of tension and complex spices on the finish ending with a nice mineral crunch. Clearly not showing everything it has yet and should continue to improve. 92+

From Magnum. OMG, this wine showed well at our Francophone dinner. Red and black fruit, some game and earth. Great structure and acidity, wonderful racey mothfeel. A great Corton. Also, first wine I had from Thibault Liger-Belair that convinced me.

Classically austere but with lovely cherry fruit underneath and classic minerals on the finish. Subdued right now but very fresh and taut with lovely tingly red spices with hints of mint and pine. I'm betting on this in the future. 92+

Beautiful nose of sharp ripe cherries and smoky minerals. Lean and zippy with firm acids but then a gorgeous core of ripe cherry fruit emerges along with a strong limestone mineral note and a hint of char. Seamless and succulent with lots of depth and a great, tight finish with lovely cherry/lavender spice along with notes of pine, mint and minerals. This is really racy and fresh and a classic expression of Corton and it has a bright future. 93+
