Apparently the last vintage for Bouzereau of his old vine Aligote which is being dug up to make way for Chardonnay. Rather a shame since I've liked this wine in the past, but at least the 2010 is a high note to go out on. Coming on like a delicately oaked Chablis, this has just the faintest hint of nutty oak on the nose, offset by a tart twist of bright, tangy, lemony acid on the palate. Zippy and clean but not without depth although I can see how it might be a difficult customer for some tasters.
