  So glad this wine waited for me to come home to my cellar after the pandemic. It took a couple hours to open but still had fruit and spic.

  2010 was a stellar vintage for NZ reds, and this one didn't disappoint. Medium ruby colour dried cranberry, 5 spice and a hint of black pepper on the nose. Medium bodied with a slightly chalky,mouth filling, remind-me-of-burgundy texture. Medium+ tannin and intensity. Loved the dried thyme and mixed fruit chutney notes on the palate. Lingering finish.

  Lifted floral and sugared red fruit nose. Medium bodied, fruity, balanced, smooth palate, leading to a medium satisfying finish. What I expected from a solid NZ pinot.
