Side by side tasting of Clone 4 and Clone 6 of 2009 Beckstoffer To-Kalon, Both decanted for 3+ hours. The Clone 6 was a slight winner based on its more balanced and longer finish.

A hint of chocolate/mocha up front, otherwise mainly stewed red fruit. Better paired with chocolate as a port, otherwise over the hill.

Improves after 3+ hour decant. Smooth tannins with dark cherry on palate and cocoa on longish finish. Very nice wine.

Very easy to drink. Smooth tannins and mocha-like finish.

Drank over two days. Huge tannins and sour acid, smooth body. Never improved.
