One glass drunk each night for 4 nights as an aperitif, with the bottle stored under vacuum in between. The wine showed considerable development over the period. On the first night, it was youthful, slightly restrained, with fresh fruit, a touch of lemon, and some oak; elegant and showing promise. By the fourth night, it had developed more mature, secondary flavours and had more weight. I think this would show well against many a premier cru white burgundy and at a fraction of the price (a clearance bargain for £7 at my local supermarket).
