WS Zins are always so beautifully balanced. This one brimming with blueberry/blackberry bramble on the nose. Vibrant. Some cigar box in behind the fruit. Cinnamon stick and a touch of nutmeg. The palate is lush with blueberry and wild cherry. Silky, almost absent tannin. Long and tasty finish.
pop and poured, note being written on first glass. Plum, strawberry with some pepper but not as much as some Zins I have had. Great mid palate finish, some tannins but not a lot. Really enjoyable and maybe one of the best finishes I have tasted.
Atypical WS zin. On the nose plum, dark cherry and a whiff of anise. The surprise is the medium body, lighter than the normal WS zin. I think it was actually a slightly off bottle as the flavor profile was thin and undistinguished. Oddly it was still enjoyable.
