Easter dinner 2015 with lamb and ham. Opaque plum in the glass. Vanilla and prime noise. Silky in the mouth, well balanced stone fruit, light touch of acidity. Finished just a touch hot, but resolves to pleasant dark plum and fig notes.

Wonderful fruit aroma. Mourvedre really shines in the blend. Is it the Petite Sirah giving some light and nice tannin. Syrah providing nice structure and of course how can I not like a Paso Zinfandel. Neutral oak. Tasted on its own and is delicious. Also goes great with food: roasted zucchini, olive oil, lemon garlic and Parmesan cheese on spaggetti.
