This wine hasn't stood the test of time. Didn't seem to be oxidized nor did it have any noticable TCA. It was out of balance and disjointed. Fruit, oak and acidity all clashed.

An impressive showing by Block 7 ever my last two note that had me fear for a shorter-than-expected lifespan for this wine. Upon tasting it had everything that reminded me of why I love OR pinot over CA: that specific Oregon earth flavor that dominates the background while bright black cherries, stewed raspberry and a little menthol comes out up front. A medium finish with a great salinity and acidity. Happy to have enjoyed this wine.

After that last bottle, I was impressed with the persistence of plush sweet red fruit hanging on up front. There's a little more OR earth showing up. I only have one bottle left - going to hold on for a few years.

Light ruby color. Very berry approach. Soft tannins. Structurally solid. Very typical profile for a well-made pinot. However, I would be reluctant to pay the $74 average community value for it. I think there are other excellent pinots to be had at a lower price.

Wonderful balance of fruit on the nose. Berry front and mid with hint of black pepper. Relaxed finish.
