  • This is a nice champagne without extras, true to its blanc de blancs nature with its clear yellow fruity start. The faint muscat like scent does not really show on the palate. The fruit fades faster than expected and makes way for some vanilla followed by gentle nutty/almond bitters. Pleasant, introvert champagne, which does not excel in complexity.

  • Straight-up lemon color...medium effervescence and much of it...mostly lemon-lime on the nose and in the mouth...balanced well with yeast and subtle minerality. Excellent juice!

  • nose: almonds and tart tropical fruit. Not truly tropical, that's just the best way I can describe it. The nose had a depth and intensity that I found most agreeable, though.
palate: fruit-driven, with the almost-tropical character at the center of a mineral/lemon vortex. OK, maybe not a vortex. A mini-cyclone. But still, it was a fun ride with an exciting, tingly finale of tangerine.
