Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.3 points

  • deep black-red with classic baked, super-ripe fruit. Blackberry dominates; has baked granola with vanilla, toasted notes, very forthcoming hints of pepper and gentle spices.
The palate is full-throated with dried blackberries, baked fruit, a rich, "Barossa-esque" styling with blackberry yoghurt cheesecake feel; to it; sweet yet firm powdery tannins, still unfolding at this point. Overall, very smart wine with long length; wonderful depth of flavour, rich texture and well structured.

  • Eye: deep reddish purple. Nose: dried fruit, berries, smoky, herbal. Palate: tannins softening yet still good structure, full fruit, medium body and finish.
