The base wine is apparently from the 2020 harvest. 15 months on lees prior to disgorgement. The nose doesn't have quite the same intensity of previous releases but the palate is reminiscent of those that preceded it. Quite petrol-y but in a positive way. While the finish does taper off a bit quickly and there is perhaps a smidgen more sweetness than I might like in an ideal world, this is still terribly enjoyable.
APPEARANCE: Color & intensity: pale gold
NOSE: Intensity: medium Aromas: lemon, bread dough, mirabelle plum, honeysuckle, white flowers, green apple, wet stones, petrol Development: developing
PALATE: Sweetness: dry Acidity: medium (+) Alcohol: medium Body: medium Mousse: delicate Intensity: medium (+) Flavors: lemon, mirabelle plum, lemon zest, petrol, bread dough, crushed stone, hint of salt Finish: medium
CONCLUSIONS: Quality level: good Potential for ageing: can drink now but has potential for some further ageing

Pale lemon in the glass, pronounced aromas and flavors, medium effervescence, floral nose, palate is dry and crisp, lychee, nectarine, rocky minerality, long finish

As I love riesling and I love sparkling wines, this was a double winner for me!
