  • Still a bit young, may develop over the next year or two, but that's about it. Cabernet fruit a bit muted on the front end even after about an hour decanting didn't show as much as I'd like it to have. The Petite Verdot threw it off a bit in my opinion -- not sure how many % was in the blend as it's not on the bottle and nowhere to be found on St. Francis' website. Not sure where the Merlot was as the mid-palate was a bit of a gap. Acid was a bit high on the finish which may align with prior reviews of "bitterness". Bottom line, I wish a bit more fruit had shown through in the blend as you just get a glimpse of the cab and get into an astringent Petit Verdot on the back palate. I'd probably give this one max a few more years.

  • Perhaps still slightly young but it's drinkable now with decanting or Venturi. Delicious aftertaste that's not too fruity. Drank with steak and potatoes and it goes with that perfectly.

  • Bitter on aftertaste. It was okay with burger. Nothing really memorable about wine.
