  • A very good 2010 Puligny from a less well known producer. Drunk over two evenings. Deep golden colour (but no hint of premox). Lovely bouquet of peaches, pears, buttercups, creamy vanillin oak and chalk, with spicy highlights. In the mouth, good balance and proportion. Poached pears, tinned peaches and lemon pie with cream, with real Puligny minerality and typicity. Touches of pineapple and ripe exotic fruits. Racy acids. Good depth and concentration. Very wide open now, I'll be drinking my bottles in the next five years as I question the longevity here.

  • Ready to sip now and benefitted immensely from one hour breathing int he bottle. Bouquet of mature oak, hazelnut, slightly burnt honey and vanilla cream. Palate more of a croissant with honey flavoured butter. Very smooth, elegant and well-structured. Having said that, we do not think she is designed for the long-haul so sip up by 2017 to avoid disappointment...we think she will turn into a weak wine.
