Popped and poured last nite. It's been awhile since I've had this wine, and it's a tad over the hill. Browning at the edges. Still, my last notes are fairly consistent. Still fairly decent stewed fruit here. Earthy tar notes, prunes too. A bit short.

Drank last nite with Waldmans locally. Opened and showed darkish ruby red color. Nose of prunes, some earth & tar. Lots of fruit (plums and blackberries) at first, and seemed quite a lovely wine that was in a good place. However, as dinner proceeded, the wine faded quite a bit leaving mostly tertiary notes, and not much fruit. I liked the wine a lot at first, but it pretty much died in my glass. Never decant, and drink fast!

AllRed's tasting note nailed this one. Fruit was dried and emaciated and all that's really left was the acidity and an herbal component. Very disappointing.

Slightly orange tint to the ruby color. Aromas of black tea leaf and red fruit. Light bodied, with flavors of red fruit and herbs and a short and thin finish. I revisited this at the end of the tasting and it smelled like the water left behind in canned tomatoes.

This is probably already over the hill and needs to be consumed quickly with food.
