Drank from the bottle, pleasant nose but not too strong. very smooth and easy to drink, medium body with tannin well integrated. I liked it but for some people, it may be a bit too simple.

70% Cabernet Sauvignon - 30% Carmenère. It aged 15 months (27% American, 73% French - 45% New, 55% second use). Decanted for 50 min. Very nice on the nose with scents of flowers, spices, coffee and a little bit of mint mixed with oak...very nice aromas. On the palate, it is full bodied, with balanced tannins and medium-long aftertaste. It's slightly astringent with a touch of alcohol at the very end. However, I do think it is too young now...this really needs more cellaring...maybe 3 years more. Recommended!

Dark red/purple in the glass. Nose of black fruit incl black and red currant. Fruit very primary and a bit concentrated on the palate. Medium acidity and med-to-hi tannins. If I had more I'd wait at least a year for it to settle. The cab/carmenere mix only speaks malbec to me. 89 and potentially an extra point for additional longevity, but I like to drink my points now.

dark red, cedar and oaky, spicy and full of tannin, smooth but spicy, maybe good with BBQ and spicy/thai-food but not particular enjoyable

Strong oak flavor and tannin. Smooth. It actually carries a hue more common in younger reds but is aged well. Velvety with good structure
