Vinetasters: (mostly) 2010 Burgundy (Park Ridge, IL): Served double blind. A touch of oaky reduction here, with the bitterness from the oak a little more prominent than I care for. Pleasant sweet fruit (which makes sense in the context of the vintage after the reveal). The oak is too prominent, and juts out like it would for a younger wine. Not really my cup of tea, but more impressive for its fruit stature. My 8th, group's 5th.
