  Fabulous and super-classic expression of both it’s terroir and the warm vintage. The alcohol is warm and aromatically the wine needed an hour to throw some off-notes that could be easily interpreted towards premox-like. This was quite exciting to follow, because I had no idea if the wine was truly premox or if it just needed to settle. This time I was lucky, because when the fog lifted, a fabulously fat, generous and delicious wine emerged. This was a perfect match for a ribeye with sauce béarnaise! Perfectly mature and will not benefit from further ageing.

  Straw yellow with med-lite viscosity in the glass. Glowing nose of citrus, lavender, tropical and stone fruit and creme. Secondary honey, apple and grass. Lite body and balanced with the nose carrying onto the palate in fine layers. Delectable and mouthwatering acidity and minerals. Medium finish. On closeout at Grocery Outlet.
